Project Details
An excellent example of adaptive reuse, the Highlands Meadows project involved the repurposing of an existing medical facility into a comfortable, inviting senior center. The City of Beacon is in need of additional housing options and this three-story, 73,593 square foot residential building alleviates some of that scarcity. The new structure has been designed to resupport existing framing where new courtyards have been added, and an entirely new lateral force resisting system has been added to stabilize the building.
