Project Details
ACT, or “A Contemporary Theater,” of Connecticut, gives the Ridgefield, CT area professional Broadway-caliber entertainment. Offering contemporary productions by accomplished performers, ACT of Connecticut is quickly becoming a community cultural center since its first official curtain raising in June 2018. The beautiful theater was once home to the Schlumberger-Doll Research Center. TDEG’s efforts involved restoration and adaptive reuse. Design of the main structure on the Schlumberger property was in fact by renowned architect of the 20th century, Phillip Johnson. Our firm worked hard to preserve the antiquity of Johnson’s work while still allowing for a modern style.
