Promotions at TDEG

The following four TDEG associates were promoted in December 2021.

Christian Briggs has been promoted to Project Manager.   Chris graduated Cum Laude from Manhattan College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, where he was a member of both Tau Beta Pi – National Engineering Honor Society, and Chi Epsilon – National Civil Engineering Society.  Before joining TDEG in June 2014, Chris gained construction experience working with both a heavy civil construction firm and a residential contractor.   He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Connecticut.

Stephen Lehigh leads our Colorado office and has recently been promoted to Senior Project Manager.  He graduated from the State University of New York Institute of Technology in May 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.  When he joined the firm in May 2015 he brought with him twelve years of experience in temporary design for mass transit projects in New York City.  He has an extensive background in temporary shoring design, support of excavation and underpinning design.  He has become an asset to TDEG with his knowledge and experience working on various projects.  Steve is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Connecticut, New York and Colorado.

Jason Henion joined TDEG in June 2014 and has recently been promoted to Project Manager.  Jason was hired after graduating from the University of Connecticut  with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.  He completed his Masters of Science in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering in 2015 while working full-time at TDEG.   He has been involved in many types of projects including commercial, educational, medical, and residential buildings.   Jason is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Connecticut.

Tianming Ma has been promoted to the position of Senior Project Engineer.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and in 2016 obtained his Master of Science in Civil Engineering.   He joined TDEG in August 2016.  During his summers at Rensselaer Tim served as an entry level structural engineer at a planning and designing institute of costs and telecommunication in China and was a site supervisor for China’s communication service company.   Tim obtained his Professional License in the State of Connecticut in 2020.
