TDEG Helps Out with Eagle Scout Project

/ in Latest News
Trevor’s project involved installing four solar panel modules on a shed located on the property of the First United Methodist Church. A structural engineer was needed to approve the weight of the solar panel modules and to submit a letter to the Town of Castle Rock. Solar panels were needed to power up a golf cart which would be used to transport elderly parishioners at the Church.  Steve determined that the structure is capable of supporting the additional weight of the proposed solar panels. After the letter was submitted to the Town, Trevor and others from Troop 316 got to work. The panels were installed and the job completed! Kudos were given to Steve for volunteering his expertise and to Trevor who completed his project for a worthy cause!
