Project Details
The Weston Public Library is looking forward to expanding its programs with the help of a new “Arts & Innovation” wing currently under design. The new two-story, 6,500 square foot wing has been made possible with a $5 million gift by the estate of Daniel E. Offott III. The executor of his estate, Dick Orenstein, said Mr. Offott was a “talented artist and craftsman” who loved his town of Weston.
The addition will preserve the existing library building functionality and will be situated at the north end of the 1991 addition that was, coincidentally, designed by The Di Salvo Engineering Group.
Construction of the addition is planned to start in the fall of 2020.
