Project Details
This project came to us after being on the drawing table for several years. The original intent of leaving the structure untouched was quickly abandoned once the existing finishes began to be removed. Because of the historic nature of the building, simply replacing the existing supports was also not an option.
Our firm worked closely with the architectural team to find ways of leaving the look and feel of the building, but substantially reinforcing columns, beams and girders to achieve the design put forth by the owner and architects.
