Special Inspections: By Special Inspections are inspections of critical building components mandated by the Connecticut State Building Code, Section 1704 and the New York State Building Code, Section 1704. The Building Codes state that the Owner is required to hire the Special Inspector to provide inspections during construction on the types of work listed in Section 1704. For the hundreds of projects that we have designed over the many years that Special Inspections have been in effect, we have had great success in assuring the quality of the construction by providing the Special Inspection services for those projects. Our services are provided in conjunction with the testing agency and the geotechnical engineer to ensure that the critical aspects of the structural systems are properly constructed.”
