Mr. Hines leads our school design team and has been responsible for the structural design of most of the educational facilities done by our office.He has been with The Di Salvo Ericson Group since 1983 and was named a principal in 1995.
Clay has extensive experience as a consulting structural engineer and has held positions at every level of practice. He has designed concrete and steel structures for educational, commercial, industrial, institutional, and municipal use. His experience has included the design of cast-in-place and pile foundations, braced and unbraced steel and concrete frames, two-way concrete slabs, and all aspects of masonry construction, along with masonry bearing walls and shear walls for seismic loading.
As Principal-In-Charge, Clay has led the structural design work for:
- Moses Brown School, Providence, RI - major additions & renovations
- Saint Edward's Church, New Fairfield, CT - new church & major modifications to existing church
- The Germantown School in Germantown, NY - large additions and modifications
- The Coxacksie-Athens School Campus in Coxsackie, NY.- large additions and modifications
- The Mohonk Mountain House Skating Pavilion, New Paltz, NY
- St Mary Church - Bethel, CT
