Trevor Hill came to the Di Salvo Engineering Group with strong credentials. Trevor has been involved in the building construction industry for over 25 years. His experience at TDEG includes working on a wide variety of buildings across the Northeast. From custom homes and mid-rise housing, large churches and expansive public schools, to serving as on-call building engineer for high-rise and specialty engineer for sophisticated structural elements within buildings.
Below are some projects Trevor has been responsible for:
- Warren Harding High School, Bridgeport, CT – the new 144,000 sf school is four stories, 63 feet high with a total construction cost of $50 million.
- Brewster Middle School, Brewster, NY – This new middle school is 18,000 sf and the work included investigating the capacity of the library roof to support a “green roof”.
- Jacob Burns Film Center Theater, Pleasantville, NY – This state-of-the-art facility was recognized and awarded the prestigious LEED Gold certification.
- Hudson River HealthCare, Peekskill, NY – This project included adding on a 5,200 sf new building between an existing three-story structure and adjacent one-story former service station.
Trevor has been actively involved in working with the architectural community. In the past he has prepared and presented a well-attended two day continuing education seminar on the topic of structural design for architects. Currently, he is exploring an AIA/structural partnership to review the code provisions on fire ratings.
