Description:
The Riverstone Townhomes make up an eight building complex of three-story residential buildings. Four of the buildings are built on the structure of an exisiting two-story office building; four more buildings are new construction.
The structural work for the conversion of the two-story office building to four separate,three-story residential buildings was in two phases. Phase I was an investigation of the structural capacity of the existing two-story, concrete-framed office building to receive a third story. Phase II was the structural design for the added story and related renovation work. Our office also designed the structures for the four new townhome buildings.
